Fla. Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) is rapidly becoming a beacon for the GOP. While several lawmakers plus state leaders have kowtowed to the wishes of the intensifying left, DeSantis has been pressing back against everything from coronavirus lockdowns to protecting women’s opportunities in sports.

Recently, DeSantis continues to be signing bill after expenses, pushing Florida to guide the way. Further, when it reached the COVID-19 pandemic, DeSantis made sure lockdowns were just put in place when deemed essential and put the state’s many vulnerable first despite the CDC’s advice.

DeSantis also signed a bill making sure female athletes have access to similar opportunities in high school plus college. “I can tell a person this: In Florida, young ladies are going to play girls’ sports activities and boys are going to enjoy boys’ sports. That’s exactly what we’re doing and we are going to make sure that is the reality. ”

The Florida His party has remained strong in the support for law enforcement because leftists call for the defunding of police, garnering regard and building a strong connection with those authorities in exchange. Grady Judd, Sheriff associated with Polk County, said “never have I seen the particular leadership that I see along with Gov. DeSantis. ”

DeSantis discussed Florida’s response to the BLM plus Antifa riots last summer season, highlighting his state’s function to back the Glowing blue and allocate necessary financing to law enforcement. The chief excutive also pointed to the state’s decision to ban crucial race theory in Florida’s schools.

Even though DeSantis has already stated their intent to run for reelection as Florida’s governor, they are being touted as a solid potential vice presidential choose should President Donald Trump run again in 2024.
